Pick-pocket -check
Felt up a woman - check
Stole a gold chain - check
Tricked a foreign tourist couple - check
Scratching crotch in public - check

Done with his task list for the day, he slipped into comfort on his favourite bench at Dadar station. Humming a popular item song, he opened a packet of biscuits, to go with his 17th cigarette of the day and hot cup of chai.

Without minutes, a child came dragging herself up to him. She had no legs, and torn clothes. Weeping, she pointed to the biscuits.

For the first ever time, it moved him. For the first ever time, he parted with something he stole. It confused him, but for the first ever time, the picaroon felt pity.
